La Combe ArrangéeIt all began a few years ago when Ilona decided to go into business for herself and launch her own farm and winery. She found a small, secluded house on the heights of Saxon, a magical place amidst apricot trees, where she decided to realize her dream of independence. After finding some sheep, two donkeys, chickens, apricot trees, and some vineyards, the adventure began. The name was quickly found: "Ô faye" means "the sheep" in the local dialect. Ô Fâya Farm, the sheep farm, would blend tradition and modernity, respect for the past with a look towards the future. |
Subsequently…After a trial year in 2020, Ilona fully committed to the business in 2021. Unfortunately, just like for all her colleagues in the canton, the year 2021 will remain etched in memory as the worst year in the history of agriculture. It left its mark, particularly on apricot cultivation, which was gradually set aside. As the saying goes: "Out of adversity comes opportunity," and 2021 also brought Ilona the man who would become her life partner, who gradually joined the adventure, bringing his own animals, vineyards, and ideas. |

TodayAfter many adventures, Ilona and Denis decided to leave La Combe Arrangée and settle in the heights of Conthey, in the village of Aven, to develop Ô Fâya Farm together. The sheep are still there, so are the donkeys, and the cows have joined them. The vineyards and the winery are still active, and a new project has emerged.
